Audio | Devi Ward Erickson:The Holistic Benefits Of Tantra and How It Can Be An Aide To Healing Trauma"

Welcome to Episode 60 The Coaching Parlour podcast! In this episode, join me and my guest alchemist, Devi Ward Erickson as we discuss : The Holistic Benefits Of Tantra and How It Can Be An Aide To Healing Trauma.

Sex is truly a sacred and healing act, and is a vital force that is beneficial to ones own soul growth and expansion of knowledge of self and their intimate relation and communion with the Divine within!

Our sexuality, is an extension of our self-expression, and should be upheld with such sacred value, respect, honor, and love.

Unfortunately due to social. religious, and cultural conditioning (and honestly it depends on what part of the world, the shadow has been projected upon sex as a animalistic act, that is dirty, raunchy, and should be limited to legal couples for procreation only. Sex is misunderstood and it’s misuse has created trauma, discrimination, abuse, and dis-ease.

Yes with sex there should be major responsibility when partaking in the act and with whom, but it’s also extremely important on how we view sex and if we are willing to shift our perspective and attitudes to looking at it as an extension of our Divine Desire, Imagination, Creativity, Healing, and Peace.

Through my conversation in this episode, with the lovely Devi Ward Erickson and according to her Institute’s website: “Traditional Tantra is an ancient spiritual practice which originated in India several thousand years ago. Tantra is best understood as a form of Yogic practice, which includes sexual and non-sexual teachings designed to transform human consciousness, remove the veils of ignorance and realize ‘enlightenment’.”

I learned that through the practice of Tantra it will help guide you towards, inner peace, freedom, healing, honesty , love of course, and integration of the shadow & light with in you that leads to the balance you have been searching for.

Join us as we go over key points such as:

  • Why sex makes society as whole uncomfortable.
  • Tantra and is the misconceptions and myths surrounding this practice.
  • How Tantra can heal trauma.
  • The role Trust plays when it comes to going down the tantric path.
  • Is sex a sacred art?

 … and more!

Episode Energy Reading

The 8 of Wands and Queen of Pentacles join us in this episodes reading, asking us how are we taking ownership of our sexual birthright, and allowing it to flow freely, throughout our bodies and energies.

When working with our sexual life force energies, it should be expressed with spiritual maturity, joyfully, with dignity, and freely through our creative endeavors.

Understand that sexuality isn’t just about the ACT of love making, but it’s about the vulnerability we experience and intimacy we have with our bodies, our identity, our physical senses, roles in our societies, our relationships, but most important, how we co-create with Universe empowered by Source.

When we are carried away by the multiple sensations and excitable imagination during the act of love making, remember who are connecting with the love that is within ourselves (whether you are solo or with a partner) and that euphoric state of Divine Love that is felt within our bodies all the way from our Root Chakra to our Crown Chakra.

When that fiery Spirit shoots out of our temples and the crown of our heads during the height of Ecstasy, we are connecting to the collective conciseness of oneness where physical and spiritual reality bleeds together blurring our sense past, present, and future into the forever now of connection with All That Is.

When we step into our creative, sexual self expression, and relate to our sexuality in a healthy fashion we are tapping into the whole that is within us. A sense of Wholeness and complete Integration.

The spiritual marriage and balance of The Divine masculine and Divine Feminine within.

We we are relating to aspects of ourselves that were once rejected and repressed within the shadows begging to be loved, acknowledged, and appreciate.

We are relating through inner wisdom and showing respect…honoring the power that our sexuality holds. The power of manifesting into the physical, because of the attitude and appreciation that we have for ourselves, and how we are showing up in the world.

We acknowledge and respect our sexual gifts, nurturing them into healthy expression of wisdom, peace, freedom to be and connect to our TRUTH.

Spiritual Treatment Affirmation

“I AM intimately connected to my sexual life force, allowing it flow through me healing every aspect of being, that includes suppression, shame, and trauma that deals with my sexuality, and aids in the a healthy, self-expression, and physical manifestation through my creativity and connection with Life. ”

So be it.
